Drunk Ducks!

Recently, at a local liquor store, I came across some Chardonnay from Duck Walk Vineyards. I was so excited to find duck wine! Luckily it's not actually made of ducks, but I haven't figured out yet where they got their name. Located in on the east end of Long Island in a small town called Watermill, the Duck Walk Vineyard has been around since 1994.

Check out their full wine list.

Peabody Ducks Doin' the Nasty. . .

The Peabody Ducks strike again! My co-worker spotted these ducks having a little too much fun, while attending CTIA in Orlando.

"So I was sitting by the duck fountain yesterday, and these two ducks ... uh ... it lasted about three or four minutes. In the fountain in the middle of the Peabody Hotel. You think ducks are so cute and harmless, but where do little ducks come from? I got a bit too much of an education that day."

The Peabody Ducks of Orlando

In an amazing coincidence, after choosing the Memphis Peabody Ducks for yesterday's post, my co-worker spotted their Orlando cousin's while attending the CTIA Wireless Trade Show.

The Peabody Ducks of Memphis

The Peabody Ducks have marched across the lobby of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tenn. twice a day since the 1930s. It all started with a silly prank by a general manager of the hotel in 1932. When the ducks are not strutting across the red carpet, they live on the roof in a Duck Palace. (Fantastic!)

More about the history of the Peabody Ducks.
